Don Johnson Wages a Storage War in First 'Unit 234' Trailer [Exclusive]

A night shift attendant finds herself trapped in a Storage Wars episode gone wrong in the new trailer for Unit 234. Don Johnson stars in this thrilling tale of a mystery man, a ruthless band of criminals, and the woman caught in the middle. The film will premiere in theaters and on-demand on May 9, 2025. Collider can exclusively reveal the new thriller's trailer and poster below.

The trailer opens in a complex of storage units, where Laurie (Isabelle Fuhrman) is working the night shift when Jules (Johnson) drops in, demanding to see the contents of the titular Unit 234. However, since he can't produce anything that ties him to the unit, she has to ask him to leave. Overcome with curiosity, Laurie checks the unit herself, and what she finds inside it is something much more alarming than patio furniture or old comic books: it's Clayton (Jack Huston), a mystery man handcuffed to a gurney who also happens to be missing a kidney. Pretty soon, Jules returns with reinforcements who are desperate to get Clayton for reasons that remain mysterious. These are bad men, and they know it: when Laurie tells Jules that "you people are going straight to Hell," his response, simply, is that "I'm okay with that." Who is Clayton, and why does everyone want him dead? You'll have to find out next month, when Unit 234 debuts in select theaters and on-demand.

Who Are the Stars of 'Unit 234'?

Fuhrman is best known as Esther, the terrifying adoptee from Orphan, its prequel Orphan: First Kill, and its upcoming sequel. She is next set to star in the Catherine Hardwicke drama Street Smart, which she will also executive produce. Johnson broke into stardom as Sonny Crockett in the 1980s TV megahit Miami Vice, and subsequently starred in the long-running cop show Nash Bridges. He can currently be seen as Captain Robert Massey on the ABC medical drama Doctor Odyssey. A scion of the Huston acting dynasty, Jack Huston broke out as disfigured marksman Richard Harrow on Boardwalk Empire, and can currently be seen as the demonic entity Lasher on AMC's supernatural chiller Mayfair Witches. He also recently made his feature directorial debut with the boxing drama Day of the Fight, and is next planning to direct a new biopic of John Merrick, the Victorian medical anomaly known as the Elephant Man.

Unit 234 is directed by veteran helmer Andy Tennant (Hitch, Fool's Gold), from a script by newcomer Derek Steiner. It is executive produced by Johnson and Colleen Camp.
