Christian Sesma’s crime pic will get a theatrical and on-demand release on Nov. 1.

‘Nurse Jackie’ helmer Brendan Walsh directed the indie that also stars Jeannie Berlin, Charlie Tahan and Kayli Carter.

The true-crime film chronicles the night of the 21-year-old British backpacker's death in New Zealand while on a Tinder date and a subsequent trial, where her convicted killer used a controversial "rough sex" defense.

The feature, about a Filipino immigrant and single mother who is a caretaker for a haunted British estate, bowed at SXSW and is set for a Dec. 8 theatrical release.

The deal, also involving Music Box Films, comes ahead of a North American premiere for Ivan Sen's Australian noir at TIFF.
